Plutarch was born around year 46 CE in Chaeronea, Greece. He explained the relation between a human's soul and the moon Luna in his philosophical writings. He is best known for his "Parallel Lives," biographical accounts of famous Greek and Roman figures arranged in pairs. His "Moralia" contains essays on ethics, religion, and philosophy. He served as a priest at the Temple of Apollo at Delphi.
