(1844 - 1936)
Otoman Zar-Adusht Ha'nish (born Otto Hanisch) revived the legacy of Zoroaster and named this revival of Zoroastrianism "Mazdaznan." His teachings combined Zoroastrian philosophy with practices of breath work, diet, and self-development. He promoted vegetarianism and natural living. His movement attracted followers in Europe and America seeking alternative spiritual paths.
