Alfred North Whitehead was a British mathematician and philosopher who stated that all self-organizing systems are processes in time. His process philosophy proposed that reality consists of interconnected events rather than static substances. He co-authored Principia Mathematica with Bertrand Russell. His later work developed a comprehensive metaphysical system integrating science, philosophy, and religion.
